How do I install Business-in-a-Box?

The installation process is easy and takes about 3 minutes on a high speed connection.

Step 1:
Click the Free Download button on our site and click "Run".

Step 2:
Follow the installation wizard, select the document languages you want to install and enter your email address if you want to receive our helpful newsletters.

Step 3:
Click "Run Business-in-a-Box" or double-click the icon on your desktop.

Are the documents accessed online or will they be on my computer?

Business-in-a-Box is a software application that you install on your computer. All document templates will be installed on your computer. They are yours to keep without paying any monthly or subscription fees.

Do I need Microsoft Word to use Business-in-a-Box?

No. You can use the Biztree Text Editor (built-in).

I received an error message; something about a file that can't be downloaded?

This means one or more essential files were not downloaded to your computer. They were either blocked by your firewall or anti-virus software. Rest assured, Business-in-a-Box is completely safe. It is normal for some security software to block files they do not recognize.

Solution:

• Please make sure you have at least 300 MB of free disk space.
• Temporarily disable your firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
• Try the installation again.

I received an error saying that I don't have sufficient rights?

To install Business-in-a-Box you need to be using a computer account with "full rights".

Solution:

• Log off from your computer and re-log in under an "administrator" or "power user" account.
• Try the installation again.

How do I uninstall Business-in-a-Box?

Simply use the Business-in-a-Box uninstaller. From your desktop taskbar go to "Start > All Programs > Business-in-a-Box > Uninstall Business-in-a-Box.".
