Document Description:

The Website Design Consultation Agreement or Website Development Agreement deals with the design and development of a Customer’s website by an independent consultant. It covers the main project parameters, terms of payment for the consultant's services, use of proprietary information, treatment of confidential information, and much more. It also clarifies copyright ownership, liabilities and expectations of the parties.

By negotiating and establishing clear design and development requirements, both parties will be able to protect their interests and ensure that the project is completed within budget and on time. This contract also establishes that the consultant is acting as an independent contractor, and not as an employee.
