Document Description:

A Music License Agreement is used when the Owner of certain musical compositions grants an individual or entity (the “Licensee”) the right to use these compositions. This contract provides for a non-exclusive or exclusive worldwide license and allows the parties to outline the payment arrangement (i.e. royalty fees and licensing fees).

If you are considering purchasing music or audio for your business (for example music for your website or for a television commercial), this agreement is essential. This document protects the Owner against copyright infringement and details very specifically what can and cannot be done with the music, who the rights belong to, etc.
